Vendor Information

Permits​  (required for every booth)

  • Included with purchase of booth space from Kiwanis.
  • Purchase separately for booth space rented from local property owners.
  • Festival Day Permits - $75 for Commercial entities  -   $25 for Non-Profits.
  • Extended permits  - $125  (Extended permits are available beginning 48 hours prior to the carnival opening on Wednesday and ending 48 hours after the festival.)

Arts and Crafts

Vendors  whose items are handmade, unique, or art works that are not available in typical retail outllets. no food items and only handcrafted items may be sold in this area.  

NOTE - Booth Space on Private Property --  Property Owners on Second Street in Stilwell may have booth space for rent.  (Remember you still must get a $75 permit to be able to conduct business at the Strawberry Festival, in addition to whatever rent the property owner charges.)  Check in at the Kiwanis tent when you arrive to be issued the permit to display on your booth.

Non-Profit Vendors

Not-for-profit organizations, as approved by Stilwell Kiwanis, such as local church groups, school groups, or 501 (C)3 organizations.

General Vendor Guidelines

  • No alcoholic beverages may be sold at the festival.
  • No stakes may be driven into the street and vendors must provide their own tables and chairs.
  • No booths may be set up on city sidewalks. 
  • All Vendors must be in compliance with  Oklahoma Laws and Regulations.
  • Food vendors may be required by state officials to furnish proof that a health permit has been obtained.
  • Each vendor is responsible for collection and payment of state and local sales taxes, either paid directly to the Oklahoma Tax Commission using their Oklahoma State Tax Number or  to the Stilwell Kiwanis Club who will submit the taxes for them.
  • In case of severe weather or other emergency, official announcements will be made from the Festival bandstand.  Loudspeakers are in place in several locations along Division Street.
  • Booths must be set up and vehicles off the street by 8:00 AM on festival day.


Vendors who sell concessions, merchandise, or operate entertainment attractions for a profit.  Food vendors fit into this category if they are a commercial business operation.  

Friday Night - Entertainment on the Kiwanis Stage, 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.  

Vendors may want to be set up and open for business at that time.

Applications will be accepted beginning January 1, 2019 for Vendor Booth Spaces for the 2019 Festival

 Each year thousands of visitors visit Stilwell for the annual Strawberry Festival.   Space for vendor booths is limited, so vendors are encouraged to get their applications in early.  With attractions at each end of Division, visitors flow through the vendor booths from one end to the other.
